Phenomenal Maya Effigy Pectoral Pendant, with the Serpant Deity of Kukulkan well depicted, carved in relief and highly polished. Motley COA included. The intricate detail on this piece is just incredible, from the forked tounge to the large curved fangs, drilled eye and neck area that once held inlay of likely shell. Drilled at a 90 degree angle on the top edge above the nose for suspension. A true work of art, made over 2000 years ago! Circa 250 ce – 900 ce. Classic Maya Period.
