Description

Outstanding Sioux Beaded Sheath & Indian Trade Knife. Elaborate Beadwork, Heavily Adorned with numerous drops and bangles, Fringe across the middle with tinkler cones as well, 10 Small drops surrounding the edge with a single bead and dual bangles on each drop. Longer 4″ drop at the end with 2 more dangle cones. Intricately beaded edge around the entire perimeter of the sheath. A 6″ drop hangs from one side of the top with numerous round metal and glass beads. Finally, a long suspension cored measuring nearly 18″ attached to the top corners. Sheath measures about a foot long, Knife is 13 1/4″ overall. This is an absolutely Incredible Example. Appraised for the family in 2018 for $3000-$4000.
