Incredible Conch Shell Effigy Bowl, Cahokia, St Clair County Illinois, 7″ long, 6 1/4″ wide, 5″ tall. Originally found by Dr. E.A. Woelk, ex Floyd Ritter, ex Daniel Wolf, Purchased at the Old Barn Auction in early 2000’s. Very solid piece of pottery, One tiny chip repaired on the rim, otherwise No Restoration. This is a very fine piece of Illinois Pottery that is Rarely offered for sale. Beautiful Fire Clouds and no brainer age & Patina.
