A fine Chiribaya redware jug from the Moquehua area of southern Peru, ca. 800 – 1500 AD. The vessel is 5-1/4" high and is decorated with the typical black and white geometric designs typical of the Inca era. It has an intact strap handle and is covered with mineral deposits.
