Very Rare Cahokia Medallion Face Water Bottle, Madison Co. Illinois. Found near Horshoe Lake in 1923. Amazing example with 4 Human Effigy Faces protruding out around the bowl. Measures 7 1/2″ tall by 5 3/4″ wide. The top 1 1/2″ of the neck was apparently missing when found and was restored. The rest of the bottle is entirely intact without damage. Only repair is to the top 1 1/2″ of the neck. Great no brainer patina.
