Later generations carved his image into jade ornaments, carrying them as a ward off evil. The Weng Zhong is depicted standing, wearing a crown and a slender face. His eyes and mouth are engraved in intaglio, and he sports a long beard. He wears a loose robe with wide sleeves, his hands folded at his waist, the attire of a civil official.
