ICONIC LOCAL RELIC, 8.11/16″ Ceremonial Bone Hair Pin found by Eddie Wilcox in Lima Lake, Adams CO IL. This relic was one of Jake Vahle’s favorites. It was in the famous Dennis DeRosear Colleciton and laid on his shelf next to various artifacts for 16 years before Jake purchased it. Eddie found it while walking drainage ditches in April 2004. It was found in 2 sections and glued back together. Highly decorated. Likely Hopewell. Highly Polished and muck bottom stained.
