Description

A sweet avian ocarina from the Atlantic Watershed region of Costa Rica, ca. 1000 – 1500 AD. This fine instrument is 4” long and depicts an owl with long, curved beak. The bird is extensively decorated with incised geometric and linear designs. Intact, heavy mineral deposits, nice tone on the whistle.
