With introductory rules and observations on epistolary composition by Anon (By the author of The Young Man’s Own Book). Published by Leavitt & Allen New York (1835). 1st year of publication. Doesnt say 2nd edition but woldcat suggests it is. Good condition. Cover is very worn and pages have a fair amount of foxing mostly toward front and back of book. Cover needs reglued to spine. Missing last blank page and has a small section of page 320 missing on bottom right corner. Publishers original black embossed cloth hardback. Has the gold edge gilt all around to pages. 320 pgs. 4 7/8" by 3 3/8"
