The Life of Samuel Johnson, LL.D. (A Library of Universal Literature) 4 VOLUME SET. Published by P.F. Collier & Son (1901). 4 Volume set is part of A Library of Universal Literature. Although there were a large number of volumes in the Library publications these are the ones specific to the title in this lot. Volumes 8-11. Publishers original purple cloth hardbacks with gold gilt. Volumes 8, 9 and 11 are in very good condition. Volume 10 has damage to its spine but still a solid book inside. Very minor shelf wear to corners. 468. 479, 452 and 452 pgs. 8" by 6"
