1890’s to 1900 Photo Card of Consuelo Stuart (Peter Humphries Clark’s daughter). Consuela Stuart Clark was the first African American Woman doctor in Ohio. This photo was a gift to Elmira Howard from Consuelo. When Elmira left Ohio and moved to Missouri she turned her established patients to Consuelo thus greatly contributing to Consuelo’s success as the first black woman doctor in Ohio.
