Description
This lot contains 8 Old South Leaflets published by The Old South Meeting House, Boston, Mass. No publication date but they would be between 1896 to 1901 according to worldcat. They include No. 127 The Ordinance of 1784, No. 42 The Northwest Territory and Western Reserve, No. 14 The Constitution of Ohio, No 13 The Ordinance of 1787, No. 41 Washington’s Tour to the Ohio, No. 40 Description of Ohio, No. 16 Washington’s Letter to Benjamin Harrison and No. 43 The Capture of Vincennes. All are in Excellent condition. These are original leaflets that were sent by Jerome B. Howard to his sister inlaw Elmira Howard. They were protected in the mailed envelope for the past 120 years. Leaflets are 7 1/2" by 5 1/8". Envelope is 8 3/4" by 5 1/4"
