Description
Travels of Anacharsis the Younger in Greece by Abbe Barthelemy. Published by London: J. Johnson (1806). 7 Volume Set. Publishers original full leather hardbacks with gold gilt. Decorative page ends. Internally all books are in very good condition. Covers havnt held together so well over the last 200 years. Volume 1 both boards detach from cover and it has damage to the spine; Volume 2 has separation of front board and tare at top of spine; Volume 3 has board separation front and back with spine damage; Volume 4 is still intact by but boards are weak at the henges with a small out of lower spine, Volume 5: Front Board detached and missing a piece of lower spine; Volume 6 front board detaches and has small chip out of bottom of spine; Volume 7 is still intact with weak hinges. All pages are intact. 9 3/8" by 6"
