Description
10 Short Hand Books Published by Jerome Howard and Benn Pitman. Published by the Phonographic Institute Company, Cincinnati, Ohio 1902-1913. 2 Have signed notes "Compliments of Jerome Howard" inside them. These were his sister in-laws copies so its safe to assume its his own signature. These are the original publishers paperbacks published in the early 1900’s. The titles included in the grouping are: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, History of Sinbad the Sailor, On Self-Culture, Biographical Stories, Rip Van Winkle, Business Letters, A Christmas Carol, The Man Without a Country, The Succession of Forest Trees, and The Nurnberg Stove. All are in very good condition. Some age toning. 6 3/4" by 4 3/4"
