Description
The Principles of Light and Color by Edwin D. Babbitt. Published by Babbitt & Co., NY (1878). 1st Ed Original Publishers cloth hardback with black gold gilt to spine and cover. Cover has heavy wear to corners and edges, spine also has a good amount of wear. The back cover got chewed on by a squirrel or something (see photo). Internally it has all of its pages and is in good condition until you get to page 503-560. The critter that bit in to the back cover also got in to the pages a little. They are still readable and untorn but do have a little bite out of them (see photos). This is a very collected book. Its a shame that time hasn’t been more polite to it. 560 pgs 9 5/8" by 6 1/8"
