A nicely carved Mixtec stone figure from Mexico, ca. 1200 – 1500 AD. It is 2-1/2” high and depicts an individual seated on a throne, with hands resting on the knees. He is wearing a headdress with long earflaps. Intact, with strong mineral deposits.
