Description
This was found by Odell Moore on his farm 6 1/2 miles North of Menlo 2a- on a Ridge Site overlooking So Raccoon River. The axe was bought from his nephew on August 2, 2011 by Iowa Collector Harold Carr. Harold had the small amount of ancient damage on the bit restored. Included in the photos are pictures from the day Harold acquired it. Collector Steve Elwood acquired it from Carr and Jim Millard Acquired it from Elwood. This is one of the finest Porphyry Iowa Slant Groove axes ever found.
Condition: lightly restored bit, guaranteed authentic
