This is a scrapbook put together by Dr Elmira Howard circa 1880’s. It is a leather bound book from the 1880’s time period with approx. 95 full pages of newspaper clippings directly or indirectly about the Chinese. Dr. Howard was infatuated with Asian culture and intensely studied theology from that part of the world in the 1800’s. 10 1/8" by 7 3/4"
