Description
4 1st Edition Chromolithographic Prints by McLoughlin Brothers, New York 1898. These 8 Prints were from the Jerome Bird Howard collection circa 1900 (Phonographic Institute Editor Ohio 1887 to early 1900’s) This Lot contains 4 prints before they had their full color along with the 4 prints that were the final draft. Each is stamped with the copyright McLoughlin Brothers, New York 1898. They are a great example of the staging involved with the lithographic process of making prints. They are in good to very good condition for their age but have never been framed so edges got a little tatter. 10 5 /8" by 8 1/4"
