Superior Ancient Chumash Grinding Bowl and Pestle Set. Likely Northern California. Pestle is 4.5/8" Tall and the Amaing bowl is 5.3/4" Diameter and 4.3/8" Tall with the bowl being 3.3/8" Deep! This collection was the property of the Leonard & Vivian Nelson Estate. They were life long farmers in the Dekalb County Illinois area with ancesteral roots in the Dekalb area for generations beginning in the mid 1800’s.
