1697 AN ESSAY IN DEFENSE OF THE FEMALE SEX. In Which are Inferred the Characters of A Pendant, A Squire and a Bean "Written by a Lady". London: Printed for A. Roper at the Black Boy, and R. Clavel at the Peacock, both in Fleet Street, 1697. The beginning of this book Starts out with the author asking Princess Anne of Denmark to accept her first born child in to her service early in life because life was so hard for them. It looks to be a fun read. This Leather Book is over 320 years old. This is an artifact of literature. It looks bad but has all of its pages. It has Foxing and soiling but is still very legible. 148 pgs 7 3/8" by 4 1/2"
